I’m looking for a Senior Project Manager to drive the development phase of large-scale (up to £300m value) renewable energy projects. You will be responsible for taking projects from concept to Final Investment Decision.
This involves defining the strategy, budget, and KPI’s, developing the business case and financial models, and leading on contractual arrangements and agreements.
You will engage, and build strong relationships, with all stakeholders: customers & suppliers, investors, local and national government and internal commercial, governance, and technical teams.
The company is a small but growing business at the forefront of renewable and low-carbon energy infrastructure. It’s a rapidly evolving and changing environment. You will need to be agile and flexible, with the resilience, and good humour, to change direction quickly and often.
To be considered for this career-defining role, you must have a strong track record of developing major energy industry projects. Knowledge of, and experience of working in, the UK energy sector is expected. You will have significant commercial experience which should include project finance and funding, managing stakeholders and partners, risk management, governance, and engagement with local and national political stakeholders.
You will have an engineering qualification as you will be responsible for the technical development of these complex projects. But this role is not about construction or project delivery.
You must have the right to work in UK and you should be located close enough to work in the Central London office 3-4 days a week.
