Wind Energy Infrastructure | EPCI contracts | Negotiable Package | Remote
I’m working with a truly global business at the forefront of renewable energy infrastructure. We’re searching for a commercially astute engineer to lead the sales and delivery of major offshore turnkey projects in the UK. These are typically valued at >£100million.
You’ll be the key figure in identifying and securing long-cycle EPCI contracts, managing the full business development process from initial opportunity through bid and close. You’ll also stay involved through delivery, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
This is a business-critical role with significant autonomy. You’ll be the UK’s sole sales lead, supported by an international team with technical and project expertise.
I’m looking for someone who brings:
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects in subsea, renewables, oil & gas, power or transmission sectors
- A strong commercial track record, with success in business development, bidding, pricing, or contract negotiation
- Confidence and maturity to work autonomously to deliver against agreed targets and objectives
- In-depth understanding of complex contract structures and risk management
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust at senior levels
- Strategic and analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail
- A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
You might not be in a sales-focused role now. I’m open-minded to applications from suitably qualified and experienced people in project management or related disciplines with strong customer-facing involvement.
You should have existing relationships with key stakeholders in the UK wind or transmission industry: this might be with, for example, developers, operators, the TSO or National Grid.
This is a home-based role, but you must currently live – and have the right to work – in the UK.
The company has more than 100 years of history and a well-established training and support structure. You will receive a salary based on your experience plus bonus and benefits associated with a large global business.
This is your chance to further your career in the future of UK energy infrastructure at a pivotal time. If you have the right mix of experience and a great track record of delivery, I’m very keen to hear from you.
